Aotearoa - The Land of the Long White Cloud

In October Robert and Anne Peers hosted a charity evening on behalf of the Children’s Society. They showed photos of their trip to Aotearoa (the Maori name for New Zealand) last winter – a stunningly beautiful country with such a variety of scenery from semi-deserts to glaciers and most things in between. There were penguins – Aaaah! Albatrosses – huge! Keas – comical! There was wine (NZ of course), soft drinks and nibbles and £125 was raised for the Children's Society.
